We are proud to showcase a shirt design we printed for Bone Yard Industries.  They are a complete clothing line focused on providing the highest quality products and printing techniques.  This particular design was an oversized print using discharge inks for the softest feel possible.  Head on over to their website www.boneyardindustries.com to check out their stuff.  Also, retailers interested in carrying the product can email them directly at boneyardindustries@gmail.com.

Discharge Inks

February 26th, 2009

It seems the cat is out of the bag with our discharge inks.  We’re printing more and more orders using it everyday.  Discharge ink will remove the shirts existing dye.  Used alone, it will reduce the print to the shirts natural cotton color (usually an off white, tan, or light grey).  We then add water based pigments to the discharge ink to give it some color.  There is almost no feel at all to the prints when they come off the press.  After one wash it feels just like the shirt itself.  Here’s a nice little macro photo.

Foil & Discharge Ink Combo

January 8th, 2009

We get a lot of requests for the Affliction/Ed Hardy type foil t-shirts.  Here’s a quick example of a print using both a red foil transfer and black discharge ink.  You may even find a pic of the same design using black foil and black discharge over in our recent prints section.  Hope you like.

Show your colors

November 19th, 2008

A local high school needed some shirts ASAP for one of their pep rallies.  They wanted them airbrushed but couldn’t find anyone to do them by their deadline.  Our graphics department went to work using the schools’ colors.  The final print looked…well, airbrushed.  The print was done using three colors on high mesh count screens with halftones.

It’s been quite awhile since our last post.  We’ve been doing a whole lot of printing and not enough posting.  Here is one of the designs we printed for Lost Diamond Clothing.  This was a nice three color print using halftones.  Check out Lost Diamond’s myspace page to see some more of their shirts.  Lost Diamond Clothing

New Promo Shirt

October 16th, 2008

Our latest promotional shirt came out quite nicely.  We used discharge ink to remove the shirt’s grey dye and replace it with white.  Discharge inks leave no “hand” and provide the softest feel of all the different printing techniques that we use.  The discharge white was printed using halftones to give a nice smokey effect.  A layer of green plastisol ink was then printed on top of the discharge to give a little color to the design.  The green will actually react to black light.  Halftones were also used on the green layer.  Finally, our third layer was black plastisol ink, again using halftones.  Hope you like!
