A few people have asked us about printing images on a t-shirt that have a fade or gradient.  Gradients as printed with your standard inkjet printer are impossible to print on a t-shirt…unless you use Halftones.  Above is a picture of a shirt that we printed up today.  We used some light shading in the image which was converted to halftones before the screen print process.  The end result is a nice fade, shade, gradient, or whatever you would rather call it.  Feel free to contact us for more on halftones.

Since Philadelphia is our neighbor, we just wanted to take a minute to say hello.  For all of you potential Philly customers that think New Jersey is too far, it’s not!  In fact, our existing customers are spread all across the country.  We handle most of the design work via email (artwork, proofs, quotes, etc).  Philadelphia is so close that we’ll occasionally drive in to hand deliver orders.  We hope to hear from you guys soon!

A group of 30 needed t-shirts for their local bar crawl.  Here’s a quick picture of the back of the t-shirt we printed up for them.  These shirts were ordered wednesday afternoon by the customer and we designed, printed, and delivered them by friday afternoon.

We finished up a quick print job for the Blue Water Cafe in LBI.  Here is a quick picture of the front of the shirt.  They were printed on Comfort Colors t-shirts, which are really popular in the resort industry.  Check out our flickr account to see the back of the shirt.

Good news!  We’ve recently been contracted by Ronin Clothing, which is an upcoming surf clothing company.  Some of the designs that we’ve seen so far will be really fun to print and will utilize some of our more advanced printing techniques.  The first print runs will be done using a combination of water-based and foil inks.  We’re all really excited to get started on their project!
