New Promo Shirt

Thursday, October 16th, 2008

Our latest promotional shirt came out quite nicely.  We used discharge ink to remove the shirt’s grey dye and replace it with white.  Discharge inks leave no “hand” and provide the softest feel of all the different printing techniques that we use.  The discharge white was printed using halftones to give a nice smokey effect.  A layer of green plastisol ink was then printed on top of the discharge to give a little color to the design.  The green will actually react to black light.  Halftones were also used on the green layer.  Finally, our third layer was black plastisol ink, again using halftones.  Hope you like!

Custom t-shirts for Mackenzie Blue

Friday, October 10th, 2008

Buzz Marketing Group approached us earlier this week to print promotional shirts for a new childrens’ book that they are publishing.  Above is a picture of the final print.  It was a 4 color print on organic cotton shirts made by Alternative Apparel.  Visit BuzzMG to find out more about their company and Mackenzie Blue.  You can also check out more pictures of these shirts under the “Recent Prints” section of our website.
